Mission
The Wilson County CYFAR Program offers child development classes to parents and/or child care providers. We strive to strengthen individual, families, and communities through education.
Goal
The goal of Wilson County CYFAR is deliver and evaluate innovative educational programs and ultimately prepare children for Kidergarten.. These programs are community-based and provide research-based education designed to result in self-responsibility for health.
Objectives
The objectives of CYFAR are to:
- Increase the awareness of early brain development and literacy.
- Increase knowledge of child development.
- Utilize the University of Tennessee's resources to facilitate the education of parents and childcare providers.
