4-H Poster Contest

Show off your artistic talents and creativity in the 4-H Poster Contest!  Bring your poster to your next 4-H club meeting.  Club winners will go to the county contest. 

Wilson County 4-H held Poster Contests in local club meetings during October through January 2024. 197 4th -12th grade 4-Her’s participated in the Poster Contest in their local school clubs, community clubs or their project groups.  80 of them were selected to participate in the County Poster Contest. Wilson County 4-H Sewing Volunteer Leader, Carolyn Binkley and Former UT Extension Wilson County Director, Ruth Correll were the special judges for contest.  We are pleased to announce the following results:

                   

Cloverbuds:

1st place – Andee Hull

2nd place – Amberlee Coleman

3rd place – Walker Hull

4th Grade:

1st place – Isabella Forero – Southside Elementary

2nd place -Elijah Griffin – Community Club

3rd place – Lizzy Roberson – Southside Elementary

5th Grade:

1st place – Sloan Shoulders – Gladeville Elementary

2nd place – Sienna Mell – Gladeville Elementary

3rd place – Brooklyn Dragan – Coles Ferry Elementary

6th to 8th Grade:

1st place – Essie Mae Shehane – Honor Club

2nd place – Angie Prado – Honor Club

3rd place – Amberleigh Lynch – Anchor Academy

9th to 12th Grade:

1st place – Maddie Shackelton – Honor Club

2nd place – Olivia See – Honor Club

3rd place – Miracle Brown – Honor Club

Isabella Forero, Sloan Shoulders and Essie Mae Shehane were selected as the 3 posters eligible to represent Wilson County in the Regional Contest. We are extremely proud of all of the participants of this contest! Congratulations everyone!
