4-H Demonstration and Interactive Exhibit Contest

Do you have a special talent? Youth in 4th and 5th grade can show others how to do something, make something or how something works during your local demonstration contest. The project must be related to one of the 34 4-H project areas. Local winners in each club will be invited to attend the County Project Fair at the James E. Ward Ag Center. Winners at the county level will be invited to attend the area contest.

Recently, 4-H Agents, Morgan Beaty and Grace Harville taught Wilson County youth in 4th and 5th grade how to prepare to give a demonstration on how to do something, show how something is made or how something works.  These demonstrations could be from any of our 34 4-H project groups.  During classes, 225 participated in the demonstration contest and 155 of them received a blue ribbon.  Those students were all invited to attend the County Demonstration Contest.  26 youth attended the County Contest at the James E. Ward Ag Center on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.  The County 1st place winners from each project group were invited to attend the Sub-Regional Demonstration Contest on May 5, 2025 at the Robertson County Fairgrounds. Wilson County 4-H is pleased to announce the results.
