Potential Master Gardener Participants,
We typically start our Master Gardener course in January, but this year we are having to delay the class. Our goal is to have the 2026 class in our building addition, and we do not have the final Certificate of Occupancy to enter the building. As soon as we get the certificate, we will start advertising and accepting applications. The process this year will look different because we are limiting it to 30 participants. If we get over 30 applicants, we will conduct interviews to select our final 30. This program is volunteer-based, and our goal is to train new volunteers for the program.
The class will consist of 7 to 8 night meetings, one day meeting during the week, and one Saturday class. If this course is not something you wish to pursue, please let us know so we can remove your name from the list.
If you’re interested in learning more, but the Master Gardener course isn’t the best fit, we invite you to join our Lunch and Learn classes, offered every other month. Our next session is Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., featuring a Certified Arborist sharing insights on tree health. You’re always welcome!
